Don't Drop The Mic (DDTM) is an Urban Variety Show where artists create songs off the cuff, freestyle, perform, battle and improvise on the spot. It is a platform for unleashing creativity, showcasing talent and celebrating musical culture and diversity within the Nigerian entertainment industry.

DDTM has a team of exceptional artists that include poets, comedians, rappers, singers, Dj's and instrumentalists; that use their creative talents to entertain the audience.

The event itself is a medley of freestyle rap battles, stand up comedy, poetry, vocal performances, spontaneous discussions, improvisation and audience participation games.

The show is also open mic, so any artist can come, write their name, and perform their songs either with the DJ or DDTM live band.

Unlike other open mic's the artist has only 30 seconds to impress the audience, otherwise he would get told to "drop the mic".

Audience members can also win great prizes by joining in the games orchestrated throughout the night.

DDTM meets the needs of those who desire to have fun, challenges those who strive to be creative, and inspires those in search of recognition for their talents.

Dont Drop The Mic is more than just an event. It is a philosophy that encourages people to press on and "never give up".
